Life After Loss by WellMama in Eugene, Oregon is designed to offer compassionate support to individuals who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, or the loss of a child in infancy. Our program encompasses a range of resources, including in-person peer support groups, community events, and various other forms of support.

Wildflower Walk

Please join WellMama for our annual Wildflower Walk to honor pregnancy and child loss.

This event is not just for parents who have experienced loss – it is for all community members who want to show support for loss families. Join us as we honor babies and children gone too soon. Enter the parking lot at Fairmount Blvd and Floral Hill Drive. We will meet by the swings next to the parking lot at 10am and start our walk together. Please bring a water bottle and sun protection.

Registration is encouraged but not required.

Join WellMama and Molly mae Culligan for a worldwide remembrance held each year for children and pregnancies lost. Families around the world light a candle in remembrance, creating a 24-hour wave of light across time zones.

Join WellMama to remember, honor, and hold space for the children and pregnancies we carry in our hearts. Come in person, light a candle from home, or simply hold your baby in your heart.

Open Loss Circles

Our peer support circle meets once a week to offer the opportunity to share, process, and bond as a group with others who have gone through similar experiences. These weekly circles are gently guided by Molly mae Culligan who shares the lived experience of loss. Come as you are.

  • Every Thursday, 10-11:30 am – Pregnancy & Childloss Support
  • 1st Thursdays, 6-7:30 pm  – Termination For Medical Reasons & Abortion Support
  • 2nd Thursdays, 6-7:30 pm – Trying To Conceive, Pregnancy After Loss, and 4th Trimester Support (infants welcome in group)
  • 3rd Thursdays, 6-7:30 pm – Evening Pregnancy & Childloss Support
  • 4th Thursdays, 6-7:30 pm – Parenting After Loss (lap babies welcome in group)

1-on-1 Peer Support

We offer one-time or ongoing one-on-one peer support meetings for those seeking connection, understanding, and a safe space to talk with a trained peer support specialist. Whether you’re looking for short-term support or something more consistent, we’re here to meet you where you are.

Inspired by the loss of her daughter, Elly Mae, she has spent more than 20 years supporting individuals and families through grief and leads WellMama’s Life After Loss program.
