Join WellMama for an evening of specialized education, connection, and dinner designed specifically for perinatal mental health prescribers.
This provider dinner will focus on clinical topics relevant to those assessing, diagnosing, and treating perinatal mental health conditions, including differentiating bipolar disorder, postpartum psychosis, and perinatal OCD, as well as applying DBT skills during the perinatal period.
The event will provide 2 continuing education credits and feature presentations from Dr. Arundhati “Aru” Headrick of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and Dr. Maureen Zalewski of the University of Oregon.
Dr. Headrick will present “Bipolar Disorder, Postpartum Psychosis, & Perinatal OCD: Understanding the Differences,” addressing how clinicians can differentiate between conditions that may present with overlapping symptoms and the implications those distinctions have for treatment.
Dr. Zalewski will present “Introduction to Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills During the Perinatal Period,” introducing clinicians to DBT skills and their application in perinatal care.
